FAQs / Help

How do I use my DigiTickets?

Once booked you will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique Booking Reference Number and a barcode that also contains this number.

You may make a note of this number and take with you when you visit Pirate's Quest in place of a ticket, although we suggest printing out the email as this will contain a barcode which will grant you quicker access.

Please arrive about 10 minutes before your tour time is due to start and the Pirate crew will organise treasure maps so you can start your experience promptly.

Any queries or if you are running late - please call us on 01637 873379 and we will do our best to help.

Do you issue refunds?

Due to the limited capacity and available tours - tickets are non-refundable.

What happens when I buy a ticket online?

On completion of your order, you will be emailed a DigiTicket containing a barcode and booking reference number.  Present this ticket on arrival, or if you don’t have a printer, simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number.

I don't have a printer...

You do not have to print out the confirmation email - there's an 8 digit booking reference – simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number and take it with you, coupled with some ID.

Is there wheelchair access?

We are sorry to say that we are not accessible to wheelchairs - due to being sited in an old theatre building. There are a series of 8 steps leading into the building and a flight of 8 steps leading to the main display area and to exit.

The tour winds it's way through nooks and crannies making it difficult to navigate a push-chair through so we will store prams/pushchairs in reception.

The tour stops and starts with the Pirate guide - we do have a lightweight collapsible chair which can be borrowed.

Please feel free to email us on info@piratesquest.co.uk or call on 01637 873379 and we'll be happy to help or answer any further queries you may have.

Can I purchase a ticket in-store or on the day.

We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment or a bit of a wait as there are only a set number spaces on each day Stand-by tickets on the day may be limited.  On wet weather days - we are often fully sold out.

How can I get in contact with you?

How long will the experience last?

The guided pirate tour lasts approximately an hour, however visitors are may spend as long as they wish in the final section.

Will I still be able to use my ticket if I arrive at a time slot different to the one I’ve been allocated?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee entry if you arrive late or at a different time / date to the one stated on your ticket as there are limited spaces on a tour.  We will always do our best to accommodate with advance notice but will be unable to refund due to late arrival.

Can I bring a dog?

We are really sorry but we can't accommodate dogs on the tour.  We do have a small outdoor picnic area at the front of the building and a member of the party is very welcome to sit here with the dog.
